Celebrating that One Year Milestone in Saratoga Springs, Albany, and Clifton Park

Updated: May 27, 2020

Parents often ask, what is the best way to celebrate my child's one year milestone? I am a big supporter of the you do you concept. You need to do what feels right for your family. Are you a simple and sweet kinda family that would love just a classic birthday session in the park documenting your one year's current toothy smile combined with some lifestyle family photos? Or do you prefer a little more flair and want to style your child in a fun birthday outfit and end the session with a cake smash? Whatever your fancy, we can achieve the milestone look you desire for your one year birthday photos.

You can also decide between having your session in my 1700 square foot studio in Ballston Spa, NY with lots of backdrop options, doing an outdoor session or documenting surviving the 1st year in your home surrounded by your child's favorite toys in their room. The options are endless and should compliment your family style and the end look you want to achieve. From simple backdrop photos in the studio to cozy couch pictures in your living room, we will document this stage in your child's life. The first birthday photos document a change into the toddler phase where life will move faster than you can even imagine. As a mom of four girls, believe me when I say the moments will start to blur as time passes and the pictures we capture will take you back to details you might otherwise would have forgotten.
